Channelling the fierce spirit of punk, Gao Xiao Gao unleashes her single "Love is Punk" as a raw homage to punk rock. Taking the guise of a punk enchantress, this marks her first solo endeavor post her stint with The White Eyes.

The single, a collaboration with indie artists Lyvon and AHHKUO, is an unshackled anthem that reverberates with the rebellious essence of punk. The track is further enriched by the vigorous drumming of renowned drummer KG, whose lively spirit is captured through Gao’s bewitching vocals.

Gao Xiao Gao, a versatile artist and gender studies scholar, founded the independent label
SOFT PUSSY to amplify female and LGBTQ+ voices. "Love is Punk" serves as a rebellious invitation to embrace the untamed heart of rock, signalling Gao Xiao Gao’s resolute turn in the music scene.
